Links, Links, And More Links!

Happy 2013! Looking to purchase any Digimon CDs to celebrate making it two months into the new year? Perhaps a late Valentine’s present for your special someone? We’ve made it even easier for you to find what you’re looking for! On each CD entry, you can now find links to both the Amazon Japan and CD Japan pages for each disc, so you won’t have to waste any time searching! Of course, keep in mind that many of these CDs are roughly a decade old by now (some are even older!), so you’ll likely come across certain discs that aren’t currently in stock at either retailer. Should they restock, however, you’ll have the links on this site for easy access.

In some other (old) news, it seems that Japan is really starting to dive head-first into the world of digital distribution! Most of the Digimon singles/albums/soundtracks are now available on both the Japanese iTunes store and Amazon Japan’s MP3 store. Individual songs can be purchased for ¥250 (just a little under $3), or full albums can be bought at varying prices. Unfortunately, they’re currently region-locked, so you won’t be able to buy any if you’re not in Japan (believe me, I tried!). It’s a huge step forward, though, and perhaps we’ll see these expand into other territories at a later date.

Lastly, I’ve gone back through the various disc entries and updated most of the CD cover images with sharper, cleaner, more vibrant versions. They really make the site look much better!
